On 10 February 2017 the annual “Pick your own Hanepoot” start at Jakkalvlei Private Celler in Herbertsdale near Mossel Bay on the Garden Route. Bring your friends and family to pick your own hanepoot. Make sure to bring your scissors and a basket to pick all the hanepoot you want. The cost per kg is R7.50 Order a picnic basket from the restaurant and enjoy the day in the vineyards.
